Long Story Short:
When a broody demon enforcer (Leather) crosses paths with a snarky, free-spirited witch (Lark), sparks and maybe a few fireballs which is fly. This book is a high-stakes ride through the paranormal underworld, blending sass, smolder, and supernatural shenanigans. Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Fifty Shades of Grey but with more magic and better jokes.

Best Moments:

• Lark roasting Leather for his overly dramatic brooding. ("Did you practice that smolder in a mirror, or does it just come naturally?")

• A magical standoff in a dive bar that ends with both of them drenched in whiskey but laughing.

• When Leather begrudgingly admits he’s kind of into Lark’s chaotic energy.

Worst Moments:

• Trying to decide whether to root for them to kiss or keep bantering.

• The constant suspense that something might go catastrophically wrong (but in the best way).

• Running out of pages because, of course, I binge-read it in one sitting.
